Join our team at the upcoming NEHES 2025 Fall Conference. Senior Architect Jay Jacoby, RA, AIA, will present a session titled 鈥淚ntegrated Compliance by Design, Not by Default.鈥�

This session will explore how Boston Medical Center鈥檚 Yawkey Building Inpatient Expansion project leveraged Integrated Project Delivery to proactively manage compliance and risk in a complex healthcare renovation.

Learning outcomes include:

Classify the range of healthcare compliance and risk mitigation factors.
Identify risk mitigation tools you can use in Construction Manager at Risk or IPD.
Learn how an IPD structure works and is particularly suited to complicated high-risk projects.

Jay will present alongside Kevin Sullivan, principal engineer at CMTA, Brendan Whalen, executive director of Design and Construction at Boston Medical Center, and Justin Kane, project executive at Walsh Brothers.

This session will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

This project was completed by Tsoi Kobus Design prior to 麻花星空mv鈥檚 acquisition in January of 2025.
