麻花星空mv Helps Shape Marist鈥檚 Future as a University
(New York, August 28, 2025) 鈥 Marist College commissioned 麻花星空mv to update its campus plan at the same time the school was preparing to transition to Marist University. On January 29, 2025, Marist College officially became Marist University, a sign of continued momentum as it nears its centennial in 2029. The change followed a unanimous vote by the Board of Trustees in support of university designation from the New York State Board of Regents. Marist has long combined the resources of a large university with the personal attention of a small college, creating a unique and rich residential learning experience. As the institution continues to rise in stature and appeal, the name change will help introduce the University to a wider audience and further enhance the learning environment.
鈥淢arist has achieved remarkable success over the past several decades, transforming from a small regional college into a nationally and internationally renowned leader in higher education,鈥 said Marist University President Dr. Kevin C. Weinman. 鈥淢arist University better describes the breadth of opportunities we offer to students today and the vision we have for Marist鈥檚 next century.鈥
The campus master plan is organized by the three pillars of the strategic plan: academic vibrancy, student centrality, and expansive community improvements. Recommendations for the project include enhanced student study and collaboration space, public art, signage and wayfinding, and community connections to the Hudson River and surrounding community connectivity projects.
The master plan encompasses all elements of the 242-acre campus and includes implementation strategies for new construction and renovation of various existing site facilities. The plan will help attract broader populations to the University while fostering deeper connections among its community. 麻花星空mv鈥檚 collaborative and inclusive campus planning approach, involving administration, faculty, students, and staff, fosters deeper connections and ensures that the University鈥檚 vision is high-quality, functional, and implementable.
This transformation will advance the institution鈥檚 global appeal, expressing Marist鈥檚 identity to international students, parents, and student athletes, overall strengthening the school鈥檚 ability to attract these groups from all over the world.
