黨ǿmv’s Science+Technology Impact Grows Coast-to-Coast

(Kansas City, Mo., July 15, 2025) – From regenerative medicine and AI-aided drug discovery to semiconductor and quantum computing advances, 2025 has seen numerous science and technology industry breakthroughs. 黨ǿmv is part of that trajectory, adding Science+Technology expertise in California, Colorado, and Massachusetts to connect an impressive body of new client partners with scientific environments designed for discovery.

Recent project awards including Colorado State University’s Don and Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies Building, multiple projects at Vanderbilt, and others will add new engineering, AI, clinical, and STEM labs to research-forward campuses. In Colorado’s booming life sciences market, the firm’s design of Enveda Biosciences’ headquarters was instrumental in their receipt of additional Series-C funding. The project also won a 2025 Lab Design Design Excellence award. 黨ǿmv’s extensive biotech experience also contributed to securing a confidential office and cleanroom project with a leading genomics solutions and diagnostics company. These compelling projects are backed by a growing team with expanded leadership.

With the acquisition of Boston-based Tsoi Kobus Design in January of 2025, 35 professionals focused on healthcare, medical education, and life sciences bring deep expertise in proton therapy and complex P3 partnerships. Also based in Boston, Associate and Climate Action Strategist Chen Qin, AIA, LEED AP, joined the firm to provide expertise on sustainable laboratory systems that deliver measurable impacts. Her knowledge is proving valuable for the firm’s growing partnerships with New York Presbyterian Hospital and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Across the United States, Senior Associate and Senior Laboratory Planner Chad Baker, NCARB, and Associate and Laboratory Planner Abby Speight-Robitaille, Assoc. AIA, are poised to capture robust markets in San Diego and San Francisco, California, respectively. Baker’s past facilities experience with the Salk Institute brings unique insights to cutting-edge scientific users’ needs.

Education and advocacy are also part of the firm’s Science+Technology growth strategy. On stage at May’s International Lab Design Conference, the firm’s client, Associate Moffitt Cancer Center Director, Division of Basic Science Dr. Elsa Flores joined 黨ǿmv Associate and Senior Architect Mario Abanto, AIA, to highlight the Moffitt Cancer Center “Speros” campus’ role in cancer treatment innovation. The center will open mid-2026, housing cancer biology, drug discovery, and biomedical engineering under one roof. Principal and Project Manager Dave Swanson, RA, and Principal and Laboratory Planner Nick Kreitler, RA, discussed navigating the complexities of retrofitting and renovating underutilized facilities at the same conference, which is the industry’s flagship annual event.
